Customer's Fault Description
Remote not working following fall on hard floor
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Denon Compact stereo remote controller arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting but the volume buttons were non responsive.
On opening there was a small crack in the print that has already been worked on, this was checked and found to be fine.
The Volume button contacts were found to have suffered from contamination which had soaked through the button array.
The button contacts and PCB were cleared of all contaminants which restored full functionality. (see testing video)
