Wire has become disconnected from the battery connector
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Mertik Maxitrol remote for a gas fire arrived safely from Farnham and on inspection the battery cover was missing, this cannot be replaced as spares are not available.
The battery cable was broken, a replacement cable was fitted which restored full funcitonality.
The supplied battery was disposed of as it was reading 4v instead of 9v therefore the customer will need to obtain a replacement battery on return.
