On/Off button not working- two of the other buttons appear to be still working.

This Valor Dream Slimline 850 Gold remote control arrived safely from Monmouthshire and on testing was found to be transmitting without any button being pressed.

This was due to contamination over the button contacts.  The PCB was cleared of contaminants and then replacement conductive pads glued under each of the buttons which restored full functionality.
