Mertik Maxitrol G6R-H4TV14 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : New 9v Duracell Batteries were fitted to the remote on 2 different occasions to no avail. The screen on the remote remains blank even though a new battery was installed. The remote is aesthetically in good condition.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This remote for an Eden Gas Fire arrived safely from Leeds and on testing was found to be dead.

This was due to the regulator draining batteries, the regulator and the battery cable was replaced which restored full functionality.
