when i try to fix new programme the remote says it is full even after I HAVE DELETED 15 PROGRAMMES

This Bush remote arrived safely form Devon and on inspection the battery cover was loose due to a missing retaining clip.
On testing the remote was found to be transmitting on all buttons as per normal.
The customers fault description is not related to the remote itself, the receiver is the item that designates the capacity of the programmable memory.
This item has been classed as no fault found.
