Customer's Fault Description
Unresponsive due to leaking batteries. Changed batteries but no difference
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Arcam remote controller arrived safely from Newmilns and on testing was confirmed to be dead.

On opening there was signs of a battery leak.  The terminal was cleaned up and the crystalised acid which was all over the pins of the main IC was cleared.  Luckily corrosion hadn't started and full functionality was restored (see testing video)
