Customer's Fault Description
The battery compartment is damaged, so the infra-red has stopped working. The cooker hood itself works fine, so I’m hoping that you can fix the remote.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This ATAG Cooker Hood remote control arrived safely from Claygate and on testing was confirmed to have a badly damaged battery block making the remote dead.
A replacement battery block was fitted which restored full functionality.
The battery cover is missing its retaining clip, this cover cannot be replaced but a small peice of tape is enough to hold it in position.
