Mertik Maxitrol Remote Repair Details

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Fireplace remote controller arrived safely from Halifax and on inspection was found to have suffered a battery leak which had destroyed one of the battery terminals making the remote dead.

The terminal was replaced which restored full functionality.
