Customer's Fault Description
We cannot get the remote to power up. We have tried various new batteries, cleaning contacts and operating close to the receiver box with no success. It had worked for years, however, the last operation was approximately 3 years ago with intermittent success.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Carver motor mover remote arrived safely from Canterbury and on testing was confirmed to be dead and non responsive from its double power button press.
When the PCB was removed there were various corrosion spots from a battery leak. The print was reworked which restored full functionality.
