Customer's Fault Description
Receiver unit does not respond to signal sent by remote control and so does not light the burner. The receiver shows signs of corrosion in the battery compartment. I have had a go and cleaning this up but it is still not working. I suspect some corrosion may have leaked through to the electronics?
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote and receiver arrived safely and on testing the remote was found to be transmitting as per normal on all buttons.
The receiver sadly has suffered a major battery leak which has caused issues on the main board. Unfortunately this has rendered a repair not possible.
