Customer's Fault Description
The unit will turn on and fire up happily, however when it comes to turning down / off it’s extremely temperamental. Will work every 1 in 10 presses if we’re lucky.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Fire Remote & receiver arrived safely and on testing the receiver was found ot have poor response on the down channel.
This was due to a faulty 40khz crystal in the receiver. A replacement crystal was fitted which restored full functionality.
No fault was found with the remote itself.
