Customer's Fault Description
Remote doesn't always turn on, sometimes requires a knock to get it to work. Came without battery cover but holding the batteries seems to do nothing to help
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Truma remote controller arrived safely from Cannock and on inspection was missing its battery cover. When tested the remote would intermittently power up.
On opening this was due to a broken PCB mounting pin making the PCB move freely inside, this in turn meant that the switch would not be in position all the time.
The PCB was hot glued into place which restored full functionality. A replacement battery cover was also supplied as a spare was found.
