Remote control has completely stopped working.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Burley remote arrived safely from Grantham and on testing was found to be dead.
The terminals had signs of a battery leak. When opened there was acid corrosion over the PCB and pins of the main IC (see image), this was all cleared up and the button replaced which then restored a signal to the remote but unfortunately when the remote is moved it would transmit a random signal. This was found to be due to the IC itself which due to the print damage and pin damage a repair is not possible.
