Customer's Fault Description
All buttons work, but the footrest and recline buttons need to be pressed hard. Also the cable sheath has come away down to the first 3 coils and is failing in other parts, although the actual wiring is intact.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Riser/recliner 5 button 8-pin controller arrived safely and on inspection was found to have a damaged cable and worn button contacts.
A replacement straight cable was fitted (we cannot get the curly kind) and replacement conductive pads were glued under each of the main buttons.
