Customer's Fault Description
Left front button had a fault for while now nothing is working and we have replaced the battery but still not working
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Boston Brake tester remote controller arrived safely from St Austell and on testing was found to be dead.
The oscillator was replaced which restored partial functionality. All buttons except the left column were found to be working as normal.
The facia was found to have corrosion spots in its traces causing an open circuit. The traces were reworked which restored full functionality to all buttons. (see testing video)
Please note that the supplied battery is only reading 7 volts so this will need changing soon!
