Customer's Fault Description
Although I've replaced the battery, the battery indicator continues to flash. I'm therefore unable to activate the fire. There seems to be a loose wire also.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Electric Fire remote arrived safely and on inspecito nwas foudn ot have a faulty battery calbe and blown regulator.

Both the cable and the regulator were replaced which restored full functionality.
