Customer's Fault Description
Stopped working presumed due to requiring new batteries. Two new CR2016 batteries installed but fob still does not work. A second fob still operates the garage door and entry gate. The fob contains the new batteries installed and the old batteries (Excell) are provided for reference.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Liftmaster remote was handed to us locally and on testing was found to be dead.
This was found to be due to a bad battery terminal connection point to the PCB. This point was resoldered to give a more consistent connection which then restored full functionality (see testing video)
