Customer's Fault Description
Not 100% sure remote is at fault, but originally started playing up when a control button was switched and it switched the red light off, this doesn’t seem to be happening now but doesn’t operate the caravan mover now. ps red button needs to be switched twice quickly to switch power on.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Carver caravan motor mover remote arrived safely from Bolton and on testing was found ot power up from its double button press.

The control was opened to check for defects and the battery compartment was found to have suffered a battery leak which had corroded the terminals (see image).

As the item seemed to power on as normal the customer was contacted and notified.  It was then concluded to repair the damage to the battery block to eliminate the remotes possability of a fault.

The terminals were reworked and then a full component test carried out with no further issues being found.
