Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Linear Treadmill remote controller arrived safely from Stroud and on inspection the positive battery terminal was bent out of place meaning that when a battery was inserted it was shorting the power source, therefore making the remote dead.
The terminal was repositioned correctly and then when re-tested was found to be functioning as normal on each button press (see testing video).
This is a common issue that is caused by incorrect battery insertion which bends the terminal out of position. Because of this it is important to be careful whenever replacing the battery. A brand new Duracell battery will be supplied fitted on return so there will be no need to replace the battery for quite some time.
