bottom Left hand button has just stopped working.
when the power to the chair is turned on from the socket ,the bottom 2 buttons light up,dont know if they are supposed to do that.(the chair was purchased second hand)
Also the insulation has gone at the base of the remote
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Riser/recline 5 button remote arrived safely and on inspection the remote had signs of being opened prior to arrival with us. On opening there appeared to have been a repair attempt previously whereby replacement conductive pads were glued using the incorrect glue type and incorrect pad size, these pads had broken away for the buttons and were loose inside the remote (see image)
The pads were removed and the button contacts cleaned up, then replacement conductive pads glued properly into place.
The cable was then cut back and refitted to bypass the break in the cable.
