Mertik Maxitrol / Akos Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : display not working, back plate sounds to be loose inside the remote. buttons work but there is no visual information displayed

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Akos branded Fireplace remoet controller arrived safely from Romania and on testing was confiremd to have a blank display and loose internal weight plate.

The display was replaced and the plate hot glued back into place which restored full functionality.
