Customer's Fault Description
The unit does not appear to be sending any IR signal to the aircon. Setup signal flashes but unable to go any further. Aircon unit seems to be working ok when started manually.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Motorhome Aircon Unit remote controller arrived safely from Rhayader and on testing was found to not respond from any button.
When opened this was found to be due to corrosion in the print caused by an apparent battery leak (see image)
The print was reworked which restored full functionality.
