Customer's Fault Description
We believe the membrane buttons are faulty, we have another remote and swapped the board over and it appears the buttons are faulty.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Altus remote arrived safely from Bournemouth and on testing was found to be dead.
The battery clip had signs of a battery leak, the cable / clip was replaced which restored partial functionality, There was a break in the ribbon connector causing many of the buttons not to respond. This break was repaired which restored full functionality.
The buttons do need to be pressed hard due to worn button contacts but each button will transmit.
