Remote has been dropped and will now not work

This remote arrived safely from Darlington and on inspection the battery cover was not present, this cannot be replaced as spares are not available.

The remote was confirmed to be dead.  This was due to a SMD diode breaking away from the PCB, a replacement was fitted which restored full functionality
