Customer's Fault Description
Fob has been through the washing machine! Only the Grey Button now illuminates the fob LED / Green or Red Buttons no longer illuminate LED / Green or Red Buttons no longer open/close the garage door
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Garage Door remote controller arrived safely from Markinch and on testing was confirmed to not respond form the top 3 buttons.
On opening the button array was found to be displaced due to the rubber shroud melting due to the wash. The button pads were fitted into the correct position which restored functionality to all buttons.
It is important to note that the frequency of this remote is correct on all buttons at 433Mhz but as it has been through the wash the "code" may have reset meaning it might be required to pair the remote with the receiver (this is something we cannot do remotely), first test the remote with the garage on return.
