Carver Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : This had about three seconds in alive microwave
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Carver Caravan mover remote control arrived safely from Colchester and on testing was dead.
On removing the PCB unfortunately there were burn spots in the print from the microwave but unfortunately the main IC had a large hole blown from the top of it, this makes a repair not possible (see images)
A google search was carried out and replacement remotes can be found here - https://ebay.us/fnXAm3 - Please check with the seller for further details.
