Customer's Fault Description
I bought this second hand. The former owner put an on off switch in the remote because the 9v battery would drain within a week. Its controls buttons sometimes needed a couple of presses to work, but now the control is not functioning at all.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This golf trolley remote control arrived safely from Sawtry and on inspection was found to have been modified to add a power switch. When tested the remote was dead.
The switch and battery cable were replaced and also the oscillator was breaking away from the PCB, this was soldered back into place. Full functionality was restored.
