The remote won't work to switch the fire on. It works for everything else ie turning heat up and down and switching the fire off.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Remote for Gazco Logic E-Box gas fire arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have a bad up channel. this was due to a faulty 40.5 khz crystal.  This was replaced which restored full functionality.
