RK Reich Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : Doesn't come on when double pressing the red button. Taken to pieces by me so the clips are broken but I don't care if it comes back held together with sellotape, I just need it to work!

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Caravan motor mover remote control handset arrived safely from Earl Shilton and on testing was confirmed not to respond from its double power button press.

On opening there were some signs of a battery leak and corrosion, a 10k resistor was found to have blown, the resistor was replaced and the print reworked which restored full functionality.
