Customer's Fault Description
Seems to fade in and out, if you press and put a bit of pressure on the middle of the remote, front to back, it comes to life.

As I say, if you leave it, it fades in and out, so for instance it loses the time etc.

It does work, but not very well & im concerned about its reliability
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Velux remote arrived safely and on testing was found to have intermittent power.
On opening there was a component hanging off the PCB from one end (see image), this was causing an intermittent connection, This was resoldered firmly into place and then the remote was tested over a 24 hour period without any loss of power found.
