Customer's Fault Description
There are 2 wires a red and black one that is connected to the battery in the remote control. The black wire has broken off from where the red wire is connected too.
The back of the remote is held together with cello tape.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Gas fire remote control arrived safely from Northampton and on inspection the battery cable and buttons were faulty. A replacement battery cable and all 4 buttons were replaced which restored full functionality.
The plastic battery cover was missing, this cannot be replaced as spares are not available.
