Gutmann Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Gutmann

Customers Fault Description : The remote stopped being connected to the hood. I changed the batteries and it did not resolve the issue.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This cooker Hood remote control arrived safely from London and on testing was found to be dead.

When the customers batteries were removed the issue was foudn to be due to the child safety stickers nor being removed from the batteries (see image).  Once these stickers were removed the remote sprang to life.  Please note that the batteries are also the incorrect type, this remote needs CR2032 batteries and the ones inserted are CR2025, these will still work temporarily but its best to fit the correct batteries when possible.

This item has been classed as no fault found
