Silverline Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Silverline
Customers Fault Description : New batteries have been tried. Intermittently works and when it does work it’ll often send multiple commands ‘on-off-on-off’. Different buttons will prorogent different functions e.g. lights on torn power on etc.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Extractor fan remote control arrived safely from Harpenden and on adding batteries was found to have erratic button response and would also intermittently transmit without a button being pressed.
This was due to bad solder on the main IC, the IC was re-flowed which restored full functionality.
