Customer's Fault Description
New batteries have been tried. Intermittently works and when it does work it’ll often send multiple commands ‘on-off-on-off’. Different buttons will prorogent different functions e.g. lights on torn power on etc.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Extractor fan remote control arrived safely from Harpenden and on adding batteries was found to have erratic button response and would also intermittently transmit without a button being pressed.
This was due to bad solder on the main IC, the IC was re-flowed which restored full functionality.
