Customer's Fault Description
The button which raises the foot rest is broken. If you manage to press really hard and in the correct place it occasionally works, but this isn’t practical. The other buttons still work ok.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This recliner chair remote arrived safely from Halesowen and on inspection all of the back screws were missing and the cable was damage at the remote entry point.  The button contacts were also found to be worn.

The cable was cut back and refitted to bypass the break and then replacement conductive pads glued under each of the main buttons.
