Customer's Fault Description
Both recline buttons (up and down) only work if you apply a great deal of pressure after a delay and at an angle.there was some residue on the board where the buttons contact which i have wiped and this has made a slight improvement. Best guess the button pads have become weak as the board seems ok.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Berkline remote arrived safely from Coventry and on inspection was found to have decomposing button contacts.
Replacement conductive pads were glued into place under the effected buttons.
