Customer's Fault Description
the remote suddenly stopped working and now only two of the buttons are working, the button at 5 and 6 O Clock are working all the rest have stopped, the power on and off button is working okay as well.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Motor mover remote control arrived safely from Newry and on testing the button array was found to have many open circuit traces.
The button array was peeled apart and there was moisture damage found within the layers of the array which had eaten through parts of the traces.
Unfortunately part of this damage is within a double layered print which makes reworking the traces not possible and subsequentially a repair not possible (replacement button arrays are not available as spares)
