Remote not responding to new battery showing empty battery not lighting fire.

This Gazco studio 1 remote control arrived safely from Ryton and on testing was found to have an erroneous battery indicator.

This was due to a faulty regulator, the regulator and battery cable was replaced which restored full functionality.
