Customer's Fault Description
remote was only turning on intermittently, now does not switch on. I have tried new batteries.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Caravan motor mover remote controller arrived safely from Crook and on testing was confirmed not to respond from its double power button press.

This was due to micro dots on the ribbon connector causing open circuits.  The cable was cut back by 1mm and when refitted full functionality was restored.
