The unit is completely dead
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Westin Kitchen extractor remote control arrived safely from Cambridge and on inspection the PCB mounting pin was broken which allowed the PCB to move freely inside the case.  This in turn made the buttons not align with the external button caps.

The PCB was hot glued firmly into position.  A replacement Duracell battery was also supplied as the one supplied was low in voltage.
