Customer's Fault Description
The remote does occassionally work and if I slide the power button on at just the right angle, it works. Therefore I know the circuits are fine, but there is some kind of issue with the power switch not making contact properly inside the remote.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Truma Caravan Motor Mover Remote control arrived safely from Barnoldswick and on testing was confirmed to not power on and the remote would rattle when shook.
On opening the issue was foudn to be due to the PCB mounting pins breaking apart allowing the PCB to move freely inside.
The PCB was secured back into place which then restored full functionality.
