Would appear that the botton on the left (red Circle) has become worn as it has to be pressed over firmly to get the unit to turn on.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Motor Mover FMCD model remote control arrived safely from the West Midlands and on testing was confirmed to have sluggish powerbutton repsonse.
This was due to worn button contacts, replacement conductive pads were glued into place which restored full functionality.
