Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Westin Extractor fan remote control arrived safely from London and on testing was found to have no button response. 4 of the clear plastic pips that cover the LEDS (see image) were found to be missing, these cannot be replaced and don't effect functionality.
On opening the PCB was found to be moving around freely inside due to a broken mounting pin, this is a very common issue caused when the item is dropped, this would also explain the missing LED plastic pips.
The PCB was hot glued firmly back into the correct position which restored full functionality to all buttons (see testing video)
