Customer's Fault Description
Remote won't start up when new batteries added. Bottom left negative connection was slightly corroded by battery leak. I've cleaned it, but still no joy. Everything else was ok. No other battery leaks.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Velux remote arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
When opened sadly there was corrosion around the PCB power socket which had damaged the print. This corrosion is from a battery leak, unfortunately due to the damage a repair is not possible.
