Remote not working at all

This Chair remote control arrived safely from Raynes Park and on inspection the silicon edging was detached from the remote meaning a previous opening attempt was carried out prior to arrival with us, also all 4 of the back screws were missing.
On testing the bottom 2 buttons were found to be heavily worn which would make the buttons non functioning, the other buttons however were found to be fine. As this doesn't match the fault description of the remote not working at all the customer was contacted.
It was decided to repair the remote full to eliminate the possibility of a fault with the remote being present.
Replacement conductive pads were glued under each of the buttons.
