Gutmann Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Gutmann

Customers Fault Description : The remote fell on the floor and has stopped working completely. I have checked the batteries and they are ok.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Gutmann Extractor fan with lights remote controller arrived safely and on testing was found to be dead.

When opened there was some signs of contamination over the PCB, this was cleaned up and then the oscillator replaced.  This restored full functionality.
