The HEAT button of the remote control does NOT work.

The EFFECT button of the remote control works.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Valor remote control arrived safely from Hornchurch and on testing was found to be transmitting without any button being pressed.
On opening there was acid contamination from a battery leak over the PCB (see image), this was cleaned up and then the terminals replaced as they had rusted.
Full functionality was restored to all buttons.
