Customer's Fault Description
On off button inside case and wouldnt switch on.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Truma remote arrived safely form Salford and on inspectio nthe red switch and battery cover was missing. The battery cover cannot be replaced as spares are not available.
On opening the internal switch was missing its shaft and the PCB was moving freely inside.
The PCB was glued into place and the switch replaced as well as the red switch cap.
Full functionality was restored. One of the battery terminals was damaged so this was soldered to prevent further damage. Please remember to Pivot the batteries into this remote from the negative terminals to prevent future damage to the battery terminals.
