Customer's Fault Description
Dead remote. Was able to get it open and the power on off button would work for a few times but then stopped. No evidence of corrosion internally.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Technics remote control arrived safely from Omagh and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
On opening there were signs of a battery leak, this had corroded the terminal PCB connection point, this was reworked which restored full funcitonality.
