Technics Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Technics
Customers Fault Description : Dead remote. Was able to get it open and the power on off button would work for a few times but then stopped. No evidence of corrosion internally.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Technics remote control arrived safely from Omagh and on testing was confirmed to be dead.
On opening there were signs of a battery leak, this had corroded the terminal PCB connection point, this was reworked which restored full funcitonality.
