Customer's Fault Description
When I press the 'on' buttons (two buttons are needed to be depressed to turn on - 'off' and top middle button) the remote display changes to numbers constantly counting quickly and does not respond to any input. You have to take out batteries, leave a while and then replace batteries to stop the counting. Then same thing happens straight away of after buttons depressed.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely from Australia and on testing was dead due to a faulty battery cable. The battery cable was replaced and then it was found that the PCB fixing pins were broken making the PCB misalign and subsequentially make the buttons intermittently shorted out. The top button was replaced and then the PCB hot glued into position which restored full functionality.
