Buttons on remote got gradually worse and now stopped altogether ( on/ off buttons )

This Evolution caravan mover controller arrived safely from Telford and on testing was confirmed to not respond to its twin power button press.

This was due to a common issue where the contacts become high in resistance. Replacement conductive pads were glued into place which restored full functionality.
